In this story, Cringley sheds some light on a rumor that has been quite long running in Apple circles.
The Associated Press today joined the long list of other news publishers who have created an interface designed specifically for Apple's iPhone and iPod touch. I've already book marked it on my iPod touch. The interface is beautiful.
Ok, so the headline is a question... and for most probably an easy one to answer. I still say that Microsoft and Yahoo are an absolute match made in heaven and I don't think we've seen the last of Microsoft's attempt to acquire Yahoo.
Some would say that Mikey should follow his own advice here given the steady demise of Dell. I on the other hand disagree. I think Mikey is the right guy for the job. I believe that he will be the guy who takes Dell all the way down into the proverbial "crapper".
Following the lead of salesforce.com, Starbucks has launched mystarbucksidea.force.com, a website intended for the coffee giant's customers to share their ideas, feedback, and overall feelings about the company. When I first heard about this I was a little skeptical.

We run our business on Daylite. Its a great app and I'm hoping that the folks at Marketcircle are working on the iPhone app to match. I guess we'll see what happens on June 9th.
I vehemently disagree. Steve Ballmer was installed as CEO of Microsoft based on his qualifications, great leadership, and shrewd business tactics. He has proven himself worthy of such a position with a technology giant like Microsoft.
While I would really like to see this happen, I have my doubts. I can understand why AT&T would want to do this but I'm not sure that Apple would allow it. They believe in the value of their products and are very strict about their MAP, (Minimum Advertised Price).
C'mon Ballmer. You need this success under your belt. We need you to have this success under your belt. Microsoft and Yahoo are like a match made in heaven.
Hmmm. Hundreds of thousands of Windows Servers hacked. Zero Mac OS X Servers affected. Some would say "Security by Obscurity", and for the sake of argument, I might buy that on the Server side. Nonetheless, I dare you to check out Apple's server offering.
Ooops. Seems that Monkey Boy and and his group of hunched over munchkins in Redmond didn't beat the street this go round. Personally, I'd like to see Microsoft win and take over Yahoo. They're really a match made in heaven if you ask me.

Good input from analyst Gene Muenster regarding Apple's Q2 results.
No real surprises here, but once again Apple beats "The Street" and posts record Q2 results.
Cramer...always entertaining and usually dead on as he is here. Enjoy.
One of my favorite ballplayers in the world reached a great milestone yesterday. I enjoyed the commentary by Joe Simpson, the Atlanta Braves television announcer, as he mentioned that he was the victim of Gaylord Perry's 3,000th strikeout.
This is what Web 2.0 is all about right here. Intel's action here is a great step in helping businesses and their clients work together to deliver relevant web content and media that clients and prospects want.
A very interesting move by Apple. Based on this story, speculation is that Apple is looking to set iPhone/iPod apart even more so from the "competition".
Absolute genius...but then I'd expect nothing less.
